I'm just curious as to WHY this is happening: For whatever reason, whenever
I use say, emote, tell, chat etc whatever I type is reversed and printed backwords.
This is, needless to say REALLY ANNOYING. I've no idea what caused it nor
how to fix it -- any ideas?

an RP supreme being).

Looks like the burgundy amulet has slipped its way into public life. Check your inventory for it, and if you aren't carrying one then I'd suspect a bug in the code, or that you created an object with the same vnum by accident. Vnum 1405 if carried will trigger that response. Although it isn't supposed to work on emotes, only says and global channels.

Indeed...you were correct .
I was testing some commands which involved loading
inventory items and I (after inspection) did load the burgundy amulet.

Heh, the routine for it is tucked away in act_comm.c. Searching that file for 1405 should turn it up
