First, let me preface this with the fact that I have not messed with a MUD in MANY years.

I just downloaded AFKMud and set everything up, the only problem that I'm having is that new characters all seem to be affected by blindness, causing serious problems, of course.

Where on earth would this bug be in the code? I've looked and looked, but as I said, I'm no longer fluent in MUD code and I have never used SMAUG or any derivitive.

Egad, talk about a massive oversight. Will correct the package immediately. Was supposed to have been an AFF_NONE to reserve the 0 slot on the affect flags when they got fixed. But obviously that was forgotten
