Not normally prone to announcing things ahead of time, but just for those who might be interested, the next patch/package release of the codebase will be removing any remaining support for the IMC2 protocol. You may have noticed the AFKMud version of the client was taken down from the download pages along with the other IMC2 code. Once this is done anyone wishing to continue to use IMC2 will either need to maintain it on their own or receive updates using the general client available from whoever picks up maintaining it.

There will of course be the usual bugfixes and possible tweak to enhance a thing or 2, but that was the major thing.
