Got the AFKMud source and am working to make a few modifications. Was looking into the liquid system.

First, wanted to say "THANK YOU!" to whoever converted this from the smaug/merc system of hardcoded liquids. Having it defined ni a file makes MUCH more sense.

Couple changes I'm going to be doing, however, which will (I think) improve it.

First, making the shortdesc really a short description rather than a single word. Not sure why it is done that way since it merely repeats the name for every defined liquid.

Second, drinkcontainers should not be named "mug of ale". Rather, they should be "a pewter mug". You should have to look into or at the container to determine what liquid it contains. This is where the shortdesc comes in.

You look into a container and it might say for ale:

Its half-full of a reddish, frothy liquid.

Just an example.

Yep. This was one of Noplex's best offerings. It just seemed logical that a codebase like Smaug where so much was already OLC'able that the liquid info also be so as well. It definitely opens up the range of possibilities while keeping things simple even for non-coders.
