I'm trying to implement MCCP on a NEW SWR, and I have noticed that when send an amount of text greater than the amount sent in one buffer cycle, it will "freeze" until you hit enter, similiar to the pager with no prompt. This was definitely not happening before putting MCCP in, so I started looking through the write_to_descriptor code, comparing it to the AFKmud version. Its almost identical, except for a few small things.

I was just curious if this has come up with anyone before, and if so what they did to fix it.

Also, I notice that instead of using write, it uses send, and I was curious as to why.

If I remembere right, send() lets you send NULL characters to the other end, but I could be wrong on that. Socket stuff has never been a strong point for me. The MCCP code should be the same regardless though since this is a low level thing.
