Well two things. I have only been playing for a couple of days now so I prolly just have not found them yet. But I am looking for the Maps of the area that you can look at and it shows you where stuff is at. If there are none it might be a good idea to put some in. They are realitively easy to create in OLC. And even easier in the shell if you have shell access and know where to do it at. Also I love the Overland map. Perhaps there could be a "MAP" command that when that is typed it shows you what of the current area you are in, that you have explored and gives you the correct map legend either to the right or the left for what is where such as a Shop/Guild/Alley/Temple of certain god/s/Healer/Bank/Etc. Either one are good ideas I think.

Ok, nevermind, I just found the help map command for the area you are in. So you can scratch my last post. Sorry for the "retard moment" there guys.

'help map' only shows you the map of the newbie zone.
'help bywater' only shows you the map of Bywater.

There are no other in-game help maps, and this is deliberate. We want people to explore and be able to create their own maps.

I have looked into some mini-map code here and there, but I keep running into problems with the code. It usually shows too much, sometimes not enough, and always without some sort of line of site blocking. if I could find such a snippet to fit all of the conditions I want, in addition to the ones you want for tracking explored rooms, that would rule.

Right now, I have neither the skill to come up with it, nor the time to invest in trying. Life has taken away much of my development time and desire to work on things in general lately.
