Just a heads up for those who wish to use parry and dodge...
In version 1.63, the check_dodge and check_parry functions in skills.c no longer allow players to use these skills. The following if-check will always resolve to true for players (and then return false):
if( !IS_DEFENSE( victim, DFND_DODGE ) )
IS_DEFENSE is defined as:
IS_NPC((ch)) && xIS_SET((ch)->defenses, (defense))
To fix this, I just changed the if-check to:
if( IS_NPC(victim) && !IS_DEFENSE( victim, DFND_DODGE ) )
The skills also seem to have been stripped from the class slists, so maybe there was some effort being made to remove them. Not really sure...
