BTW, for those who may be wondering, yes. The download counter was reset again. 1.4 and 1.4a had somewhere on the order of 350 downloads, I forget exactly, but I figured I'd start fresh to keep an idea of how many 1.4b1 downloads there are.
I'm sure many of these will be repeated downloads from those who want to see what all has been done lately, which is fine, but I'm still disturbed by the shockingly small number of actual license compliant muds based on this code. Surely there can't have been in excess of 1500 downloads and not have more than 5 or so muds go up? Am I worried about nothing? Or have I come to the inescapable conclusion that people simply don't care about license agreements and things of that nature? I'd hate to find out people are running muds and not complying in the slightest, since that would do nothing but encourage the end of any further public releases or patches. I'm sure others agree as well.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who does this but I've downloaded every version you've made public. Mainly to compair the differences and see how/what was done. I know you have a change log but I like to see what exactly was done. Still in the learning stage...

Well I have also downloaded all the copies to look at and all although don't have any of them if later on I find something I need to compare I normaly redownload it and compare it since I normaly delete it after I look at it lol. Of course lately I just look at the patches for the changes seems alot easier then downloading the file just to delete it later lol. I haven't downloaded any of the 1.4b's though
Now not sure how many times I downloaded previous versions you released.
