I think that in "do_morph" function miss:

ch->mod_con += morph->con;

A similar note apply also in do_unmorph.
Also I'think that:
MKEY( "Move", morph->morph_self, fread_string_nohash(fp));
is wrong,.. probably the right way is:
MKEY( "Move", morph->move, fread_string_nohash(fp));

Yikes. Gotta wonder how such a nasty mistake can go so long unnoticed. Good catches on both of those.
