I recently came into a problem with helpfiles and programs, where there were too many lines and it would crash the mud, is there a way I can go about increasing these lines?

Depending on your code (and I could be very wrong here) look for your MSL or MAX_STRING_LENGTH, think default is 2048.

Hope it helps,

The MSL (MAX_STRING_LENGTH) is just how many characters are in the string over all.

It depends on what the actual problem is, If it is on loading large strings it should give you an error or a decent core file to point out the issue. If it is in editing it and putting in to much of something it is probably going to be in edit_buffer/copy_buffer/etc.... It has been a long time since I redid it in LOP because of quite a few different issues that needed delt with.
