Just so I have all of this straight, this is what I understand:
* You wrote an area editor for AFKMud.
* No AFKMud source code has been used.
* It can read/write the current format for the area files.
Yes, although there are still some bugs and rough edges and the MUD won't load them currently, but I'm working on that. Also, there is some work done to move the MUD specific code into plugins, which I will work on later. For now, everything's hardcoded
If this is the case, it sounds perfectly ok to me that it can be licensed under GPL.
