Account Code Setting Character AFK in Menu

I don't think this is a bug with stock SWR, as it only cropped up when I installed accounts into my code. Problem was it's trying to set the character AFK when they idle in the account menu.

In comm.c, under game_loop(), find:
         if( d->idle > 2400 &&  !IS_SET( d->character->act, PLR_AFK ) )
         {
            write_to_descriptor( d->descriptor, "\n\rAFK Check... You are now [AFK]\n\r", 0 );
            SET_BIT( d->character->act, PLR_AFK );
         }


Change it to:
         if( d->idle > 2400 && (d->character && !IS_SET( d->character->act, PLR_AFK ) ) )
         {
            write_to_descriptor( d->descriptor, "\n\rAFK Check... You are now [AFK]\n\r", 0 );
            SET_BIT( d->character->act, PLR_AFK );
         }
