I recently was redoing my website and came across a cool little javascript called BoxOver. The actual website for it is here. But it doesn't seem to be working at the momment. At any rate what is basically does is display a box with a header and body that can contain information. For a working example you can go to my website. and move your mouse over a title in the scrolling forums center block. I was thinking that it might be useful for showing the contents of a post by simply moving your mouse over a post in recent posts. Perhaps it could show the last forum post if you were on the forums page as well. Anyways, just thought I would throw it out there as an idea, and let you all decide if you liked it. If you do like it, I found a few (and wrote a few) php functions that can "clean up" the text body, as well as crop it off if the post runs on for too long.

Later,
KeB

[Edit by Kayle:] Fixed one of the links that was trying to turn the address into a subdirectory of Smaugmuds.org.

I'll let Samson make the call on this one. I'm a little overly fond of JS, as can be seen on my site, but some people aren't fond of it. ;)

Understood, like I said, it was just an idea.

I don't really have any problem with that if it's desired. But anything involving javascript is something I'll leave to those who understand it :)
