Heya All,

Sorry to bug you again with yet another wierd one.

mdelete does not appear to work.

I type in mdelete 3102
it says mob is flagged for deletion.

and then the mob is still there.

I have tried to savea, and even reboot the mud.

Yet it still does not go away?

Any ideas short of manually editing the .are file?

THanks

Kilroy

On my AFK 1.53, it seems to work.

mdelete the mob

savearea (foldarea if it's an installed area)

reboot mud now

The savearea/foldarea re-writes the .are file, but doesn't write in anything flagged for deletion, so when the mud restarts, those shouldn't be there for loading.

You might want to check your permissions and make sure the mod can write to the .are file, too.
