I have just one problem that I keep running into while adding new objects into an already implemented zone.
Whenever I ocreate an item them ooedit all of the stats for it, I 'foldarea filename.are' then when I reboot the mud or just go into the area files and vi the file I added objects too, the wear flags do not stay put. I can't get rid ofthe proto flag either. I've tried vi'ing the areafile manually and deleting out the proto flags and boom when I start the mud back up and load obj vnum...bam theres that darn proto flag again.
I've also had a few bugs with the opedit command. Doesn't happen everytime which is wierd, but every now and again, when I opedit vnum add command arg, it brings up the buffer with the text 'done.' in line 1 and when I try to /c /l or anything it crashes the mud and it reloads or just puts me back to the game prompt. When I opedit vnum list afterwards, it shows the wear_prog 100 bo nothing else.
I haven't changed any code other than what you had me add for the areaconverter and my port numbers.
Any help would be greetly appreciated.
I'm dumbfounded over it.
