Something about the thread "Weather snippet" is causing the RSS feed to be invalid. Here's what my feed reader has to say about it:

XML Parser: Could not parse document:

Entity: line 118:

parser

error :

Input is not proper UTF-8, indicate encoding !
Bytes: 0xC3 0x3C 0x2F 0x64

h/weather.h:67: error: variably modified </description>

                                         ^

XML error while reading feed! Feed "http://www.smaugmuds.org/index.php?a=rssfeed" could not be loaded!

(I hope that maintained format...)

I think it might have to do with Unicode characters pasted into the post, but the RSS feed probably doesn't advertise that in the character encoding. Just a guess, though...

Odd, I don't know if Samson had already fixed it by the time I got Thunderbird opened or if it just wasn't a problem for me, but, I've been following that thread (along with this one and all the rest) via the RSS feed without a change nor client complaint yet. *shrug*

I'm not sure why it would be showing up as broken, the feed validates against the W3C feed validator.

There have been enough new posts for the post in question to no longer be in the feed, which might be why it validates now. I suppose you'd have to create a feed with the post in question to see if it still validates.
