Thank God at least Kayle and Remcon understand where I'm coming from. I'm hoping they're not the only two people who do, because I doubt I'd be able to contain myself if I had to explain the logic behind it all over again.

I did too.. *waving his hands in the air* ..see:

Wow, Samson, I understand your position and it really was a trivial thing. Someone suggested it and I seconded that it sounded like a good idea, but it's definitely not worth all this debate/drama/whatever..

I didn't actually realize that Samson didn't post bugfixes here until there were not only solutions ready, but that they were, in fact, merged into the next revision of the code bases. I assumed the bug fixes were posted and then edited as their status changed.

Nope, they get posted only after they've been added to the current codebase version, prior to that they're discussed in the other sub-forums. But still, it didn't sound like a bad idea to me, but I can see Samson's perspective with regard to the way things are being done currently it would be questionable as to how useful such a notation would be for the current version of the code base.

Please allow this poor thread to die before it burns a hole in the server's hard drive platter.

I'll second that.

On the flip side, it's good to see that everyone is alive out there! :)

Lord, I really hope that we could've found a more civil means to prove that..

You mystify me, Samson. I am not deliberately twisting your word, and am extremely tired of your claims of such. You seem unable to understand that maybe we just don't agree, and instead insist on turning it into some stupid vilification game where Big Bad Wolf David is out to get poor little innocent you. Well, screw that, Samson. Go believe whatever you want if that is what floats your boat. I'm sick of dealing with this crap from you.

If it's not deliberate, it's accidental, and something you should probably work on. If you're getting sick of people claiming it happens, that should be the first sign of a problem you need to address. I know I'm not the only person here or elsewhere who has pointed it out and watched you throw a fit at the thought of it.

You're the one trying to turn this into much more than it needed to be. All I was trying to do was explain myself, which you seem to have a problem accepting once I've done so.

I didn't say people, Samson, because I meant you, not people. You will note that I'm not coming out accusing you of deforming my words or my explanations, never mind being such a patronizing ass as to insinuate you're doing it without even meaning to. Anyhow, I'm through.

Whatever you say David. You're always right and I'm always wrong. I've learned to accept this. Have you?
