OK, this is mainly in reference to two of the fields, the rest are fairly self-explanatory, but action and class. What the hell are they for? I can't figure out what they do, but taking them out or replacing them seems to break stuff. I tried combining them into one field, but then spells failed to auto cast on the caster and then shields failed to work in combat, and other random things like that. So.. once again.. What do they do exactly?

Isn't class used to restrict skills to certain classes? In any case shouldn't this just be a matter of looking up field references in the code? :stare: Might be a bit tedious but...

Sorry, meant to reply to this one already lol.
Typically when creating a spell that does nothing but use the dice field to do damage for an attack spell the 'create' actiontype and 'death' classtype is used. I don't recall if all of the actiontypes and classtypes are actually used though. More or less they are just other ways of having a spell_smaug spell/skill set up to do specific things.

I ended up replacing both fields with a singular field called School, going to basically sort my skills into D&D like categories and hope that I actually got around the whole problem I had last time with the skills failing to work.
