The other day I noticed that my spells were not showing their acts when cast.

like c 'bless'
A powerful blessing is laid upon you.

Then I started looking in magic.c

I found that the fancy script for successful castings/failings

had at_colorize in it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but.... After you add ansi color 3.0 colorize is actually useless.

I replaced my fancy script successful castings/failings codes with afk's and it worked fine.

However, I noted several at_colorize uses in the rest of magic.c particularly portal, astralwalk, and few other spells.

Can I just change at_colorize for those to at_magic perhaps? Or do they need to be rewritten?

Yes. That's one of the caveats of changing color systems. You need to dig up all the remaining places that don't work. I'm surprised it let you compile with AT_COLORIZE still being there. It should not have. But anyway, yes. Just change them to whichever you want. AT_MAGIC works nicely
