with smaugwin, using area edit, how would i make a monster that is easily killed, yet gives enough exp to get the user to lvl 2?

i'm merely doing this because i deleted all the default areas, and made my own, but i cant seem to make a monster that will get my guy to lvl 2 so i can save......can somebody help me out with this?

Level 1 characters don't gain experience. You need to keep the autoadvancer mobs around for that. They do have a purpose. :)

It's the pair of utility mobs sitting at the last few vnums of the stock intro zone. Usually has the name "hvak" in part of it, so look for that. The other solution would be to simply make everyone who enters the game level 2 from the start. Or better yet, figure out how to get the xp formula to let level 1 advance properly.
