Hey I've just started to use smaug. All I've pretty much done is set it up so i can connect to the default settings and rooms and whatnot. I'm trying to figure everything out tweak it around a little before i delete it all and start my own. But I see to be having trouble finding the starting room? and where is the code for creating a new character and whatnot, I'd like to fiddle around with that a bunch at the moment too.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance

The starting room will be called something like ROOM_VNUM_START or ROOM_VNUM_SCHOOL in mud.h. Not positive off hand but I think which one it uses depends on the state of your name authorization.

Character creation is handled in comm.c, specifically the nanny function.
