I know how it goes, it is because of people like that that I had added a new rule to my Imm application helpfile:



In my experience, any who isn't willing to fill out a small application. or even stick around and see if the game is the least bit interesting to them, isn't going to be on your staff for long. However, before I put in "Rule D", I'd average about 1-2 people asking to build for me every couple days...but now it is more like a builder app once per month or so.

It does seem pretty weird to want to build for a game without wanting to get any feel at all for the game. Never mind the multitude of reasons, here's one very simple one: how are you supposed to build for a game if you don't know what the game's theme/feel is...?

I can't believe someone with grammar that atrocious thinks they're qualified to be anything but what he's demonstrated. Someone with no clue.

I miss those people. But my personal favorites are the ones that create a character, get past pre-auth, get into the game, and then over public channels that everyone can see be like, "I can biuld 4 u, yes?" to which I always reply something like, "Sorry, I don't speak that language, can you try speaking common for me so I can understand?" or "Srsly? r u srsly askin me 2 do tha?" and occasionally I'll just have something exceptionally witty to retort with, and make them feel as intellectually inferior as they project themselves to be.

We should start "lolmuds" or something...
