Posted it here since I know the issue is in SmaugFUSS and it's likly an issue in the client download for imc. Mud Domain forums are laggy right now and wanted to post it before I forget.

here we have this
void imc_update_tellhistory( CHAR_DATA * ch, const char *msg )
{
   char new_msg[LGST];
   struct tm *local = localtime( &imc_time );
   int x;

   snprintf( new_msg, LGST, "~R[%-2.2d:%-2.2d] %s", local->tm_hour, local->tm_min, msg );

   for( x = 0; x < MAX_IMCTELLHISTORY; x++ )
   {
      if( IMCTELLHISTORY( ch, x ) == '\0' )
      {
         IMCTELLHISTORY( ch, x ) = IMCSTRALLOC( new_msg );
         break;
      }

      if( x == MAX_IMCTELLHISTORY - 1 )
      {
         int i;

         for( i = 1; i < MAX_IMCTELLHISTORY; i++ )
         {
            IMCSTRFREE( IMCTELLHISTORY( ch, i - 1 ) );
            IMCTELLHISTORY( ch, i - 1 ) = IMCSTRALLOC( IMCTELLHISTORY( ch, i ) );
         }
         IMCSTRFREE( IMCTELLHISTORY( ch, x ) );
         IMCTELLHISTORY( ch, x ) = IMCSTRALLOC( new_msg );
      }
   }
   return;
}

but imc_freechardata has this
   for( x = 0; x < MAX_IMCTELLHISTORY; x++ )
      IMCDISPOSE( IMCTELLHISTORY( ch, x ) );

Since they come stock useing the same deal it's not noticed, the problem comes in if you make them do seperate things. Just thought I'd point out that technically they aren't matching up correctly.
