Bug: Damage message displays incorrect message

fight.c, damage

Locate:
      if( dampmod > 0 )
         dam = ( dam * dampmod ) / 100;

      dam_message( ch, victim, dam, dt );
   }


Change to:
      if( dampmod > 0 )
         dam = ( dam * dampmod ) / 100;
   }


Locate:
   /*
    * Hurt the victim.
    * Inform the victim of his new state.
    */
   victim->hit -= dam;


Change to:
   if( ch != victim )
      dam_message( ch, victim, dam, dt );

   /*
    * Hurt the victim.
    * Inform the victim of his new state.
    */
   victim->hit -= dam;


The message shown to the player is incorrect sometimes because damage could be modified in places after the original message was generated. Moving it to the new location allows the correct damage message to be shown every time.
