skills.c, do_rescue

Locate:
   if( ( fch = who_fighting( victim ) ) == NULL )
   {
      send_to_char( "They are not fighting right now.\r\n", ch );
      return;
   }


Below that, add:
   if( who_fighting( victim ) == ch )
   {
      send_to_char( "One would imagine THEY don't need your help.\r\n", ch );
      return;
   }


Being able to stop an attack by rescuing the attacker. Oh how many times I wish I knew about a bug like this back in the day! The equivalent of the old playground copout: "I'm not playing anymore!". Obviously this can be exploited by a savvy player and no doubt has been many times in the past.
