build.c, do_mset

Locate:
         else if( !IS_NPC( victim ) )
         {
            int valid_langs = LANG_COMMON | LANG_WOOKIEE | LANG_TWI_LEK | LANG_RODIAN
               | LANG_HUTT | LANG_MON_CALAMARI | LANG_NOGHRI | LANG_GAMORREAN
               | LANG_JAWA | LANG_ADARIAN | LANG_EWOK | LANG_VERPINE | LANG_DEFEL
               | LANG_TRANDOSHAN | LANG_CHADRA_FAN | LANG_QUARREN | LANG_DUINUOGWUIN;

            if( !( value &= valid_langs ) )
            {
               ch_printf( ch, "Players may not know %s.\n\r", arg3 );
               continue;
            }
         }

Change to:
         else if( !IS_NPC( victim ) )
         {
            if( !( value &= VALID_LANGS ) )
            {
               ch_printf( ch, "Players may not know %s.\n\r", arg3 );
               continue;
            }
         }

For some unknown reason the original Smaugdevs were using localized language checks when the definition in mud.h was for the same thing and had been added to since being created. Naturally of course the localized copies were forgotten and apparently never really noticed until now.
