Oh great gods of Coding...

I am but a humble SMAUG builder. Recently myself and several other angry builders split from our old SMAUG-based MUD and decided to start our own. Now we face a slightproblem.

Lacking an advanced coder, how can we attain the SMAUG engine with that beautiful Overland Map snippet pre-attached?

Hark! You have already done this and so much more with your AFKMud codebase! I quickly sent it over to our server tech, who informed us it won't work with Windows XP, for it is Linux.

*sound of rending garmets and donning of sackcloth*

And so I ask: Is my server tech correct that they cannot work together? Do you have a windows-compadible overland map/SMAUG combo hidden away somewhere? Do you know of a different codebase that has the overland map and will support our beautiful SMAUG areas we brought with us?

Forgive me for using a little New King James speech, but it seemed oddly suited.

Heh. May want to have your server tech crack open ye olde readme file and have a look. For he need only download and install the Cygwin files mentioned therein and off you go. AFKMud is already compatible with Cygwin out of the box with one alteration to the Makefile to support it
