I'm having the following problem compiling the source code. Wish I knew what was wrong (thinking it might have something to do with size_t on a 64-bit system, but I tried several things and nothing seemed to work).

Building AFKMud....
make -s afkmud
Compiling o/descriptor.o....
descriptor.cpp:1219: error: prototype for âvoid descriptor_data::pager(const char*, unsigned int)â does not match any in class âdescriptor_dataâ
descriptor.h:116: error: candidate is: void descriptor_data::pager(const char*, size_t)
make[1]: *** [o/descriptor.o] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2

Line 1219 in descriptor.cpp
void descriptor_data::pager( const char *txt, unsigned int length )

Line 116 in descriptor.h
   void pager( const char *, size_t );

Any help would be greatly appriciated (I wish I knew C++ as well as I know some other languages... LoL)

What happens if you change line 1239 to:

void descriptor_data::pager( const char *txt, size_t length )

Well, it gave me an error during the overland.o compile, but I fixed that one by installing gd.h (palm-2-forehead). Other than that, it compiled perfectly; many thanks! :biggrin:
