I was wanting to create a sort of 'administrative' type of account, to fix small bugs in builder's exits, edit typos in the descriptions, etc. I know it's a bad idea to vassign overlapping vnums, but is there a way to have an account (level 115) who would be able to modify other's vnums?

Hmm, it seems I can do something of this nature with the 'bestowarea' command. Am I correct?

Yes, you should be able to assign the area to other people and they can load it etc.

Yes, you can use bestowarea, and then aassign it ( note the extra a! ) to yourself and anything you do with it will be reflected when you save it.
