Does anyone even use this code at all?? I found it in the code, all.. but it don't seem like it'd ever be used :P

I've made use of the do_retire code to create a do_guest command that I have used several times so far on my mud, but I've never seen a reason to 'retire' an immortal.. honestly, I'd be more inclined to mortalize them or guest them than to retire them, but the idea is nice. I suppose if I had someone who was still in 'good standing' with us but didn't feel they'd be able to contribute as an imm anymore due to real life constraints but had been with us for awhile I'd certainly consider the option. *shrug*
