I'm hoping the answer to this isn't obvious, but the text file for the DNS cache just says to remove the old slave code before installing...I'm not sure what its referencing to. I'm running a SWR 1.0 mud, it lags when most people log on, even when nameresolving is turned off, so I was excited when I saw this! Any help or points in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks in advance,
Tranin

There was an older DNS resolver snippet at one time that had a slave process associated with it. The newer DNS code is vastly superior, and they would both clash over doing DNS functions so the older code should be removed. But obviously only if you're using it. It wouldn't even have been mentioned except people tend to cling to old, outdated code for some reason.
