I have been up and down the forums here trying to find the answer to this but I think a search skill of 5 just will not cut it. All joking aside, I have just wrote my own housing code including making a key for the door without any imm assistance. My problem is with the key it's self, the key gets made and works fine but when the player quits the key is deleted. Is this an item setting I am missing or is there on inventory saving code for? Also with rent off is the effect no saving or just free item saving? Thanks in advance.

P.S. The key is not the only items I have seen deleted on quit, it is just the object of my frustration at the moment.

I'm pretty sure keys are not saved. Grep for the item key type.
