Bug: Line editor does not perform proper global replacements
Discovered in: AFKMud 1.76a
Danger: Low - Code is partially working already
Found by: Cynshard
Fixed by: Cynshard

---

editor.c, edit_buffer

Locate:
         if( word1[0] == '\0' || word2[0] == '\0' )
         {
            send_to_char( "Need word to replace, and replacement.\n\r> ", ch );
            return;
         }
         if( !str_cmp( word1, word2 ) )
         {
            send_to_char( "Done.\n\r> ", ch );
            return;
         }

Change to:
         if( word1[0] == '\0' || word2[0] == '\0' )
         {
            send_to_char( "Need word to replace, and replacement.\n\r> ", ch );
            return;
         }
         /* Changed to a case-sensitive version of string compare --Cynshard */
         if( !strcmp( word1, word2 ) )
         {
            send_to_char( "Done.\n\r> ", ch );
            return;
         }

Locate:
         ch_printf( ch, "Replacing all occurrences of %s with %s...\n\r", word1, word2 );
         for( x = edit->on_line; x < edit->numlines; x++ )
         {
            lwptr = edit->line[x];

Change to:
         ch_printf( ch, "Replacing all occurrences of %s with %s...\n\r", word1, word2 );
         for( x = 0; x < edit->numlines; x++ )
         {
            lwptr = edit->line[x];

The line editor will do a search/replace with the /r command invoked within it. However, this only works from the current line being edited on down. This fix will cause it to start from the first line and work down, while also respecting the case sensitivity of the strings to work on.
