Whenever i try to set one of my mobs hp it sets it but when i purge it and make a new one it has a random hp mostly between 100-600 or around there

Try mset (mob vnum) hitplus (amount). That should help ya out!

A pretty good resource for new builders is Herne's building guide I believe. It details all those kinds of problems you encounter when first trying to learn how to build. Don't worry, you'll be doing everything perfectly out of sheer habit before very long. I'm sure you could find that (and other) smaug building guides by googling.

Just keep in mind that while Herne's guide is an excellent resource, it may not be 100% applicable to the codebase. The reply about using the hitplus is more or less on target for this issue.
