Hi folks, I just downloaded AFK and got it up and running.

I can log in with the Admin character but am unable to log in with a new player. Here are the steps below:

I Log on
I Type new
I get the name warning
I type Andress
I type My Password

Then nothing.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I found the problem, if your using a client that has compression MCCP it does not allow you to see the prompts and will disconnect you.

That would be most irregular considering the majority of development work has been done using MCCP clients. But I'll have another look at creating new chars just to be sure.
