Just a heads up for those who wish to use parry and dodge...

In version 1.63, the check_dodge and check_parry functions in skills.c no longer allow players to use these skills. The following if-check will always resolve to true for players (and then return false):

if( !IS_DEFENSE( victim, DFND_DODGE ) )
return FALSE;

IS_DEFENSE is defined as:
IS_NPC((ch)) && xIS_SET((ch)->defenses, (defense))

To fix this, I just changed the if-check to:
if( IS_NPC(victim) && !IS_DEFENSE( victim, DFND_DODGE ) )


The skills also seem to have been stripped from the class slists, so maybe there was some effort being made to remove them. Not really sure...

Yes, your fix is valid and was overlooked in the macro cleanup. Will address that shortly.

Jury is still out on what Dwip's intent was with regard to those skills in Alsherok though, so I'm not sure if it was planned to be completely removed or not. He's in Europe for the next couple months though, so unless he drops by the forum we won't know
