Hello
I'm trying to add codepage to Afkmud code.
I've found codepage snippet(from Pihhan) but it's for Smaug.
So I try to make my own snippet and...it's hard work.
I can write special characters(Upper Ascii), but it was very easy.
I can set in config what codepage I wan't.
I have 3 diffrent options in config (None, CP1, and CP2).
I change write_to_ buffer function, so it can change character 'a' to 'b' or 'c' to 'd'(just for test) but, how to check from this function what codepage player set(none, 1 or 2)???

You would need to do a check on their codepage flag by using something to the effect of:

if( d->character->codepage == some test )
do something here;

Or, attach the codepage to the descriptor directly, and do:

if( d->codepage == something )
do this;

Removing the barrier to being able to send high-ascii codes is rather simple. Just hunt comm.c for the line that mentions the bastards in Redmond and remove the next line of code

All depends on what it is you want to do with this code.
