I havent been to the forum in a while as i have been doing a major overhaul on my codebase. but one thing im stuck on is locating a peice of code...

you all know if you are level 40, and have a level 50 item, it will scrap when you logoff. that is somthing i want to remedy, but cant find exactly where it's located.

if you can point out where i should be looking it would be a huge help.

thanks

p.s. (its a smaug 1.4a version)

I beleive that you want to look in fwrite_obj.
    if ( (ch && ch->level level)
    || ( obj->item_type == ITEM_KEY && !IS_OBJ_STAT(obj, ITEM_CLANOBJECT ))
    ||   obj_extracted(obj)
    ||   IS_OBJ_STAT( obj, ITEM_PROTOTYPE ) )
	return;
Should become
    if ( ( obj->item_type == ITEM_KEY && !IS_OBJ_STAT(obj, ITEM_CLANOBJECT ))
    ||   obj_extracted(obj)
    ||   IS_OBJ_STAT( obj, ITEM_PROTOTYPE ) )
	return;

That should be all you need.
