So just fooling around today, I noticed a terrible bug with druid's skill animal form.

Surprisingly players never mentioned it.

in custom.c

find animal_change function

then find ch->hit = ch->max_hit

Everywhere in that function comment that out. Players were getting full hp restores each time they used the skill.

My bad :)

Actually, if I remember my AD&D 2nd edition rules, druid shapeshifting *IS* supposed to fully heal you. But that's because there are other bad things(TM) which balanced it out. :)

I think your right. For balance though I think I went the route of regeneration. But certainly you could balance it with full restoration by doing different things.

Oh, I was going to ask... since I'm lazy and didn't see it mentioned in a README... does your codebase make the first login an implementor, or do you have to putz around editing save files?

Cheezy way to do it is to just make a player.dat file that has the number of characters that exist, and then each character name (and optionally some other info if you like). You just add a new entry whenever a new character gets made. If the file doesn't exist yet (or the count is < 1), promote that character to be admin.

I think I did administration player with 2.0 version. I did it with one of them.
