Hello, I have a simple question.
In smaug fuss 1.4a I load an area with range vnum from 25001 to 53290. And the code load this area without problems. But.. why?

In smaug fuss 1.4a there is the 2billion.txt patch or similar?
I thought that the vnum's room (mobs & objects) limit was 32,767.

thank you and bye

Oh, they'll *LOAD* just fine, but you may well find that some of the vnums don't work properly. As in some might have rolled negative.

If not, then I suppose it does have the 2 billion patch. In fact, now that I think about it, it may. The code was 80% done with that as I recall anyway, which is probably why that patch had a tendancy to fail so often.

Anyway, if the areas loaded and aren't repoting strange vnums in your logs, consider yourself lucky

Perfect clearly. Thank you Samson.
Probably I'm lucky because in my mud apparently all works with or whitout patch. In any case now I have installed all the patch (..the 20% that missed) following the instruction that we can found here: http://www.smaugmuds.org/index.php?a=files&s=viewfile&fid=77

It would have to be enough ...I hope.

Bye
