Hello Folks!

I've reworked bestow() and bestowarea() to be a bit more friendly. They also now use the built-in hasname, addname, and removename functions from the channel system.

You can snag it up here: http://www.kenetix.biz/bestow_fix.txt

Mind you, the instructions arn't entirely detailed but they should help.

Note: you can specify more than one area or command to bestow or remove. Seperate them via spaces.

Let me know of any bugs or questions.

Damn it.

Builders are so annoying!

One very important thing in this fix - if you are using hasname, you have to be sure the list of bestowments is the FIRST argument to the function. The bestowment lists are passed to is_name as the second argument, so that needs to be accounted for.

Also, build.c isn't the only place this needs to be done to be done properly. Regardless, since the bestow command in 1.60d is bugged and will crash the game if used on someone with no bestowed commands, Xorith's fix will be incorporated into the next update.
