Has anyone ever gotten stuck in a SIGCONT?

0x081283bc in obj_extracted (obj=0xad53980) at handler.c:3961
3961 for (cod = extracted_obj_queue; cod; cod = cod->next )
(gdb) next

Program received signal SIGCONT, Continued.

How did you even get a SIGCONT? As I recall, SIGCONT is the counterpart to SIGSTOP, and doesn't naturally occur unless someone actually did 'kill -18 pid', which is only useful if they first did 'kill -19 pid'.

This is not the same as SIGTSTP, which is what happens when you hit ctrl-Z in the shell.

Maybe gdb does something weird behind your back?

I'm as confused as you. My MUD has been getting stuck in an infinite loop lately and this is what gdb says when I attach it. Continue and/or next brings up another SIGCONT.

Wow, confusing. I don't think I've ever seen that, though I'm running smaug1.4a heavily modified...so that could be a difference? Wish I could help more, but have 0 experience with that. :(
