I'm using the FotEFuss codebase on a very nice server that hosts MUDs and I'm all set. I get into the FotEFUSS/SRC directory and I run make, then when it's 100% and finished I run "nohup startup 6500 &" and the system returns with
"nohup: cannot run command 'startup': No such file or directory."

I'm looking at the list and I can see startup there, everything looks right, I just can't make it work. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Can you run it normally without nohup?

Check your syntax.
Also, you may want to edit the startup file and change your port there to 6500 from the default. May save you a headach in the fugure.

Try "nohup ./startup 6500 &"

Hope it helps,
ayuri
