OK, maybe not flowers, but the theory is still sound

This is a port of a Merc snippet. It allows players to leave reasonably messy calling cards behind when they depart the fair towns and cities of your MUD, in the form of impaled corpses littering the highways.

It would have used a skill called "impale", but unfortunately that skill is taken in afk by a spell, so I chose spike instead. The original code can be seen here, and to save forums space, my port's code is posted here

Thanks got to Samson for making code so readable I could recycle the do_tan functions a lot for this
