Would anyone be able to help me out? Whenever I try to compile, I get the following errors:

The server I am using runs Ubuntu and has g++ version 4.4.3. I'm not sure what's going wrong. Thanks to anyone who can help!

Got me, that looks pretty serious. Maybe you should follow the advice the compiler is giving you and file a bug report with the GCC guys? It's very clearly something internal to the compiler that likely has nothing to do with the codebase.

Just tried to build 2.1.4 on Ubuntu 10.04.1 gcc version 4.4.3 (Ubuntu 4.4.3-4ubuntu5) with no problems other than a few warnings.

Could be your gcc install is messed up.

Make log:

Lots of other errors (granted I'm not actually trying to build it), but try reinstalling gcc.
