Ok, so. I'm currently working on a MUD with a few friends. All of us are basically new ot coding. It's SmaugFUSS 1.8 code. It's a old, discarded MUD that we are SLOWLY working on converting to our own. Learning C is giving me the biggest headache EVER. LOL! Basically my quest is/was...can someone give a few tip/pointers/directions...anything at all on how to code quests?

You want to code quests? Why code, not mob progs?

Helping to answer my question already. So there is a way to do that in-game then? Looks like I'm gonna have to start looking into the mob progs then. Many Thanks

Generally you can make simple quests just by using mob progs. There are also snippets out there you can add to your code to keep track of quests as well.

(Although I don't see the snippet in the repository here you can find a couple at http://www.mudbytes.net )

Yeah, pretty much same thing everyone's been saying. I'll eventually get to the mob progs. LOL! Made my first FULL items last night. Yeah, only been doing this for like a week, if that. And where I work I can't get into the MUD, and I work 12 hours a day 7 days a week. So I don't get much time to play. Anyway, thanks for the help!
