Has any mud ever accomplished representing their OOC channel on an IRC server or vice versa? If they cannot be directly interfaced, one option I was considering was constructing a bot in the IRC channel that would essentially copy/paste things from the OOC channel but then again I don't know how you would go IRC -> OOC with that setup.

It should be pretty feasible. We have an IRC Bridge for the IMC2 Network, it would just be a matter of doing the research, or inquiring with Kiasyn as to how he got the bridge to work. .........................

Didn't Kiasyn just fix the irc bridge for imc? I thought it'd been around imc since before Kiasyn had been even... in any event, the answer is yes, it should be do-able but it may take a little research. As for any mud having ever done it previously, who knows, but I wouldn't be surprised if they had. .........................
