Hi,

I just joined Alsherok today and found some odd things while wandering around.

When I examined the corpse of the kargynt I see this:

The corpse of The kargynt contains:
<send "get chains-kargynt-abecedarium chains-kargynt-abecedarium" hint="get The kargynt's chains chains-kargynt-abecedarium">The kargynt's chains</send>

And when doing a LIST in the apothecary I see this:

[ 98] <send "buy blue-armor-potion-abecedarium " hint="buy A blue armor potion ">A blue armor potion</send>
[ 98] <send "buy dark-grey-recall-potion-abecedarium " hint="buy A dark grey recall potion ">A dark grey recall potion</send>

etc, etc... for the entire list of items.

Doesn't seem to be a normal display. I use MUSHclient. Is it the client doing this? And can it be fixed?

That's MXP output. Something caused the MXP features to fail to initialize. If you can get Mushclient to turn on MXP support it should come out better. Otherwise in the game, type config -mxp

MXP is on in my MushClient (by default) and most of the MXP looks fine, it's just the hyperlinked items using the LIST and EXAM command that it turns this way.

Here's another example. This is my inventory:

You are carrying:
A pot of red paint
A cloth bag *
The Beginner's Guide to Wayfaring
A Waterskin

All are hyperlinks. Now this is an EXAM of my bag with the pot of red paint in it:

When you look inside, you see:
A cloth bag contains:
<send "get scroll-levitation-newbie-bywater scroll-levitation-newbie-bywater" hint="get A scroll of levitation scroll-levitation-newbie-bywater">A scroll of levitation</send>

Well as soon as we get done with the latest mass code update and make sure it's all working, MXP is going to be gone anyway because of the difficulty in maintaining it. It may come back at some future date but that's going to depend on getting ahold of a better MXP system that actually works right. :)
