Well im kinda new to coding and i downloaded the swr1.1 codebase and i though that the gaining hp and mv points from leveling was already in there but how i was wrong. So i was wondering if somebody could help me by telling me how to code it in. The Second thing was i was wondering were i could change the look of the movement and hp bar at the bottom (Basicaly just changing the colors and such). And finaly how would i make it so you start with some credits cause at the moment you dont?

Stock Smaug has it in update.c under gain_level, or the sort. Check for the function that does a level up.

The smalloc.c file is obsolete and you should work to drop it from being required. It's a hack for some really old Redhat 5 platform where it was claimed the implementation of malloc() was faulty. That problem, if it ever existed, has long since been fixed by now.
