I am using the afk version 1.52 codebase and have decided to add in descs. such as hair color and eye color, but for some reason once these are set up for the character the save in the pfile but the value is set to 0 when the pfile is opened to log on to the game i am really confused about why this is happening so any help would be useful thanx.

Ok... are they strings? Or are they numbers that reference to an array?

Also... you did add to fread_char, fwrite_char, and also free_char? (i think it's free_char, where you null out and zero out variables to free up a character )
